Happy Spring everyone! We are well and truly into our 3rd month here at our new address on 44-46 King William Road, Goodwood. We hope you've had a chance to drop in to check out our new space and said hi. There are lots more choices in unique cake offerings if you haven't tried it yet. But there's always our staple of croissants, pastries and savoury quiches and pies!
With our new venue being bigger and capacity seating of up to 30+ we're set to humbly host High Teas for two or more as well as special occasion events like Birthdays, Baby Showers and Hen's High Teas, etc. We hope you'll consider our venue and menu for your next special occasion.

Finally, after much deliberation, By Blackbird v2.0 our 2nd venue on King William Road is open. Its still a soft opening as we work out our kinks. For example, no EFTPOS as we work towards getting a phone line installed, then EFTPOS machine, etc. In the meantime, the kitchen is in full swing, operational and staffed. The new venue also hosts a new space which caters up to 30 comfortably with an awesome antique union table. A new coffee machine that works like a workhorse kindly offered to us from Veneziano Coffee Roasters, check them out on Saturdays on Melbourne St at their First Pour Cafe, you might see a few familiar pastries there too.
There are now new Opening Hours for both the original and our 2nd venues as well. So please be sure to check to avoid disappointment.
We're now calling the original space By Blackbird on 100KWR and the new venue By Blackbird on 44KWR. If you follow us on Facebook and/or instagram, we've used #bb44kwr and #bb100kwr to differentiate.
Anyway, we hope you'll continue to visit us at either of our locations for your coffee, tea and pastries fix. Oh and now you can also get some alcohol fixes at our new location too. Yes that's right, we're licensed so you can enjoy a glass of red/white/bubbly or beer with your lunch or breakfast if you're desperate :)

As we work towards our new space on Shop 3, 44-46 King William Road, we just wanted to say thanks to all who supported us during this tumultuous time as we get our shop fitted out. Be prepared to try out lots of new things as well as some of the 'old' as we fill the new shop with all the things we both know how to do and plan to introduce.
We look forward to seeing you and enjoying our new space.

We are participating in this year's inaugural Double Shot Coffee Fiesta, an event held by both Unley Council and Adelaide Fringe. We will be closing our cafe on 100 King William Road and instead set up a stall in the Soldiers Memorial Gardens, cnr Thomas Street & Unley Road.
We hope you won't be disappointed and look forward to seeing you at Double Shot for free coffee tastings.
